Welcome to the Patriots for Liberty Web site. My name is Bob Minarik and I am the club leader. To give you a little background, Patriots for Liberty has been a rights advocacy and information gathering club since our inception in 1977. We are located in north/central Indiana, near Rochester, two hours north of Indianapolis and one hour south of South Bend. We originally organized as the Tax Information Committee and took our present name in 1982. In the past, we had tried to meet once a month for at least two hours of discussion and exchange of info.
We have no formal membership to Patriots for Liberty. If you want to assert that you are a member, you can do that. We maintain an informal membership for a reason. If we don't keep a membership list, there is no list for the government to steal as they attempted to do with NCBA. Thankfully in that case John Voss was willing to and did spend 18 months in jail to protect that list.
Just so you can feel right at home, the members that I know are strong proponents of individual rights and limited government. They oppose socialism and government interference in the market place and in our private lives. Our members are of different ethnic backgrounds and of different religious persuasions, but all support the cause of liberty. They are strong willed but they are not racist or violent. We have joined together to effect change in government as our founding fathers so stated in the Declaration of Independence that we had a duty to do.
We know there are three ways to change the direction of government from socialism back to a Constitutional Republic. They are: 1) the ballot box 2) the jury box and 3) the cartridge box. Our objective is to try to make changes using the first two, but never giving up the option to use the third.
We understand there are two kinds of laws being enacted. Laws against acts that are "malum in se" or evil in themselves and lawsagainst acts "malum prohibitum" or evil by prohibition. We support laws against acts that are evil in themselves, but generally oppose laws that make an otherwise lawful act illegal, just because of a political or monetary motive. Fees, Fines and Forfeitures are just another means to control and steal from the people.
We urge all our member to establish a factual evidentiary foundation in reference to their own personal status. When government attacks our personal rights through a "malem prohibitum" type law or arbitrary tax claim, our members are urged to take an aggressive stand and shift the burden of proof back upon their accuser.
The articles that you will find on the Patriots For Liberty web site are designed to assist you in establishing that evidentiary foundation, protecting your property, and defending your family against unwarranted government attack. They are not designed to tell you how bad things are. Those articles are a means to a remedy. Make the effort to read them all. We won't bog you down with a lot of verbiage. We feel our articles are of substance. If you disagree, you let us know and we'll give them our re-review.

http://findlaw.com/casecode/ Hello fellow tax patriots, For over ten years, a gentleman who went by the moniker of ICE received, reviewed and published a mountain of information regarding the IRS and DOJ's misapplication of the income tax law. His well-known website and mailing list were a treasure-trove of articles and research on the income tax, property rights issues and supporting court decisions. Other topics such as the Federal Reserve/Money System and Federal Jurisdiction/States' Rights were also addressed with timely commentary and discussion. Sadly, ICE recently closed the website, but the excellent material he archived for all those years has now been converted and saved to a self-searchable CD. I highly recommend the CD, as it represents a time in our nation when we finally understood and started to come to grips with the true nature of the income tax deception. Windows into history like this are extremely valuable, so we don't lose sight of where we've come and where we're going. The price is quite reasonable, especially considering what's being offered and the amount of work that went into its production. There is also a way for you to help keep the project alive and to pass the word about the income tax scam and the solutions being offered.
